TAV Airports consortium has closed transaction for the full ownership acquisition of Almaty Aiport and the associated jet fuel activities in Kazakhstan. The consortium is led by TAV Airports and includes VPE Capital and Group ADP. The purchase price was US$ 415 million.
TAV Airports is an 85% shareholder (from which Group ADP owns 46%) of the Almati Airport, while VPE Capital holds the remaining 15% stake. The airport is the biggest one in Central Asia: in 2019 it handled approximately 6.4 million passengers.
