Targa Telematics Spa has announced the closing of the acquisition of 100% share capital of Viasat Group Spa (Viasat Group).
The transaction was completed after receiving approval from the Antitrust Authority in Italy and Spain and authorization from Golden Power in Italy. With this acquisition, a prominent global player in the IoT sector and the development of connected mobility solutions and digital services is formed. The company will have a presence in 8 significant European countries, including Italy, Portugal, Spain, France, the UK, Belgium, Poland, and Romania, as well as a subsidiary in Chile.
