Swiss Life Asset Managers and Vesper Next Generation Infrastructure Fund I have agreed to acquire RAD-x, a diagnostic imaging and social infrastructure platform with 23 sites across Germany and Switzerland, from Gilde Healthcare.

The investment will facilitate RAD-x's expansion into new geographical areas while further developing and enriching its product offerings to deliver essential, top-notch, and accessible healthcare infrastructure services. Established in 2016 and headquartered in Mannheim, Germany, RAD-x stands as a prominent diagnostic imaging provider in Germany and Switzerland. From its inception as a single clinic, RAD-x has evolved into one of the largest diagnostic imaging platforms in the region, boasting 23 centers across Germany and Switzerland. With an ongoing commitment to technological advancement and innovation, RAD-x maintains its position at the forefront of diagnostic imaging, delivering reliable and high-quality diagnostic services to its patients.

Established in 2011, the Swiss Life Asset Managers Infrastructure Equity platform oversees EUR 10bn in Assets under Management. With a team of 65 investment specialists boasting an average of 20 years of industry experience, the platform has executed 75 infrastructure investments across 15 solutions. These investments span direct and indirect opportunities in sectors such as energy, communications, transportation, regulated utilities, social infrastructure, and renewable energy. The Vesper Next Generation Infrastructure Fund I SCSp, managed by Sanne LIS S.A in Luxembourg, focuses on next-generation infrastructure investments. It targets companies involved in clean, digital, and decentralized energy; decarbonized mobility and connected logistics; data-centric digital infrastructure; and sustainable, circular, and healthy living solutions.
