SWEN Capital Partners closes third infrastructure fund

SWEN Capital Partners, a private equity firm, has closed the fundraising of its third infrastructure fund, SWEN Infra Multi-Select 3. 

The company has partnered with several European investors such as pension funds, mutual and insurance companies, banks, and other private clients. The fund raised EUR455 million (US$516.21 million) on its closing. 

The fund will be invested mainly in Europe in transport, energy, communication, and social infrastructure, hence, a diversified portfolio generating steady returns at an optimized level of risk. SWEN Infra Multi-Select 3 has already made its first investments and is expected to make its first distribution by yearend.
