Sweco aquires UK based MLM Group

Sweco has signed an agreement to acquire MLM Group, a UK engineering consultancy with services primarily within buildings, transportation infrastructure, and environment sectors.

MLM Group was Established in 1966. Its 13 offices are predominantly located in London, southern England and Ireland. MLM Group employs about 460 people, had a full-year revenue in 2018 of about GBP 40 million (US$ 52.12 million) and EBITA of approximately GBP 4 million (US$ 5.21 million).

The acquisition strengthens Sweco’s offering in buildings, transportation infrastructure and environment. It also adds services in buildings compliance and a strong market position in selected locations in southern England. With the acquisition, Sweco UK will have a turnover of about GBP 108 million (US$ 140.72 million) with 26 offices and 1,340 employees.
