Representatives of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) have concluded their supervision tour of the three lots under construction of the so-called San Pedro Agroindustrial Corridor in Paraguay.
The team representing the Executing Unit of Projects (UEP-DV-BID) responsible for socio-environmental and cadastral matters, along with representatives from the Department of Social and Environmental Management (DGSA) of the MOPC, are monitoring the overall progress of the project. Their focus is on socio-environmental aspects such as emissions and noise control, proper management of solid waste, and ensuring that workers are using appropriate personal protective equipment.
Verification of the camp facilities and the housing conditions of the staff was also carried out.
