The closing date for receipt of Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for an advisory services tender for a hospital PPP/concession project in Kazakhstan has been extended to 25 October 2018.

The European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) issued the RFEOI on 27 September 2018, with the intention of selecting and contracting a consulting company to provide advisory services to Kazakhstan's Ministry of Healthcare and Kazakhstan Project Preparation Fund (KPPF) to support the tender of the country's first PPP/concession project in the healthcare sector.

The PPP/concession will entail the construction and operation of a multi-disciplinary 300-bed hospital in Almaty. The future concessionaire will design, finance, construct and operate the new hospital and provide the non-medical services, while the Kazakh National Medical University will be the medical operator.
