StratCap Wireless, the StratCap infrastructure division, has completed a US$20.3 million acquisition of 14 cell towers located in and around the Oklahoma City metropolitan area with one tower in Wichita, KS, USA.
The acquisition of the towers includes 23 existing leases with three wireless carriers Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile. The towers are critical infrastructure for tenants as they help them provide wireless coverage to a significant customer base in the 41st largest metropolitan statistical area (MSA) in Oklahoma. The towers have significant bandwidth, so tenants can upgrade their facilities with 5G equipment.
As a result of the purchase of the towers, StratCap will generate long-term rental income and create attractive value-added opportunities based on the additional capacity of the towers.
