State of São Paulo to auction Lote Noroeste road PPP concession

The Transport Agency of the State of São Paulo has published a bidding notice for the Lote Noroeste road PPP concession in Brazil. 

The new BRL13.9 billion (US$2,786.3 million) concession includes 600 km of roads that cross municipalities in the regions of São José do Rio Preto, Araraquara, São Carlos and Barretos. The winning bidder will take over the road networks currently operated by the concessionaires AB Triângulo do Sol and Tebe. The Northwest Lot's scope of work includes 122 km of duplication, 95 km of third lanes, 43 km of side roads, 75 km of bicycle lanes, 3 rest spots, 38 new devices, 18 customer service bases and 37 pedestrian walkways, among others.
