Standard Chartered has announced the signing for EUR55 million(US$65.62 million) funding with the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Ghana for a road infrastructure PPP project. The funding will cover the asphalt overlay of 100 km of feeder roads in Tamale, Walewale, Nalerigu, Gambaga, Damongo, and Yendi in the Northern Region of Ghana.
The project is expected to improve the socio-economic development of the country’s urban and rural communities by providing easier access to healthcare, education, employment and other social services.
