The Board of Representatives for Stamford public schools in Connecticut has voted to hold on whether to fund the city´s plans to redevelop Stamford public schools.
The project included the redevelopment of Hart Magnet School, Toquam Magnet School, Roxbury Elementary School, Cloonan Middle School, Westhill High School, Apples/CLC – Pre-Kindergarten Programs - Anchor school on the public-private partnership mode by 2024.
The voting session was held to approve the funding of US$ 1 million to complete the RFQ and RFP process for the project, and to have a temporary space where the students would be housed while their schools are rebuilt.
The funding can only be approved by the Board of Representatives for Stamford public schools, who decided to put the process on hold.
