Stafford Capital Partners has invested around EUR100 million (US$107 million) in DIF Infrastructure Fund V via secondary transaction. The company acquired the investment from a single UK corporate pension scheme.
The fund is managed by DIF Capital Partners and aims to invest primarily in Public-Private Partnership (PPP) and renewable energy projects. The final closing of the fund was EUR1.9 billion (US$2 billion) in May 2018. It currently has a portfolio of 24 assets, including PPPs, concessions, regulated assets and renewable energy projects in Europe, North America and Australasia.
