Vauban Infrastructure Partners has announced the secondary sale of the Greenfield Fund Investment and Development Fund for Public-Private Partnerships 2 (FIDEPPP 2).
The buyers, led by Stafford Capital Partners, are investment funds managed by Ares Management, Nordea Asset Management and other institutional investors. The fund's shares are acquired through the Core Infrastructure Fund Prime SCP SICAV- RAIF (CIF Prime) mechanism and Vauban will manage the mechanism and FIDEPPP 2. FIDEPPP 2 is a closed private equity fund managed by Vauban Infrastructure Partners. The fund is located in Paris, France, and will invest in France. The FIDEPPP 2 portfolio is made up of 15 investments spread across such sectors as digital, social, energy transition and mobility infrastructure in France. Fund assets such as fiber optic concessions, university PPP, smart meter activities have reached maturity after 10 years.
The transaction allows Vauban to show the results of management by offering historical FIDEPPP 2 investors a liquidity window and providing secondary buyers with access to an inflation-protected portfolio with stable and regular returns over the long term.
