The Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority is ready to call for consultants and proposals for the tourism zone development project in Dedduwa. Dedduwa is a region in southwestern Sri Lanka, it is located south and inland from the beach tourist resort of Bentota. The zone will be developed using a public-private partnership procurement mode. It will be an integrated tourism development project of Sri Lankan Government.
The authority will issue a request for expression of interest for services of a local or international consultancy agency with experience in transaction advisory services for large scale projects. Expressions of interest and business proposals will also be sought from parties interested in developing the project. The dates of the issuance of the mentioned requests have not been announced yet.
