SN Aboitiz Power, a joint venture between Philippines-based Aboitiz Power and Norway-based SN Power, is set to bid in the privatization of the 728 MW Caliraya-Botocan-Kalayaan (CBK) hydroelectric power plant in Laguna, Philippines.
The hydroelectric project is currently under the IPP administration contract with the CBK Power Co. Ltd. The project is one of the remaining power assets of government that is up for privatization by the Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corp. (PSALM).
SN Aboitiz Power currently operates several hydroelectric power project in Luzon such as the 380 MW Magat hydropower plant located in the border of Isabela and Ifugao Province.
