Skanska has announced that it won a US$63 million contract awarded to renew extension of Oregon Health & Science University in the USA.
The US$111 million project involves the construction of the 50,000 sq m, 14-story Oregon Health & Science University hospital in the USA. The work involves the building of wards, parking spaces and plant rooms, the construction of 3 sky bridges to connect the new tower to the existing buildings, as well as roadway improvements and a transport hub. Skanska's initial work consisted of site and foundation work, as well as the procurement of building elements with long delivery times.
Work on the project began in 2022 and should be completed in 2026.
