The Water and Electricity Company (WEC) of Saudi Arabia has received six proposals for the Jeddah Airport 2 independent sewage treatment project (ISTP) from the following consortia:
The project involves the development of a sewage treatment plant (ISTP) at King Abdulaziz International Airport, located to the north of Jeddah, a city in the west of Saudi Arabia. It will have capacity to treat 500,000 m3/day of sewage and be constructed adjacent to the existing Jeddah Airport 1 sewage treatment plant.
The six proponents are among the nine pre-qualified teams that received the Request for Proposals (RFP) from WEC in April this year.
