Ministry of Public Works in Chile has announced that it has received six bids for San Luis de Buin - Paine Hospital PPP concession. The project will develop a facility with 200 beds in 56,000 m2 which will benefit 223,483 users from two communes. The concession period for the project is 19 years.

The six interest bidders are as following :

1. OHL Agencia Chile
2. Consorcio Iberoasiático (JV of China Road and Bridge Corporation; and Puentes y Calzadas Grupo de Empresas SA)
3. GIA + A
4. Moller and Pérez Cotapos
5. Sacyr
6. Inversiones Hospitales Maule (JV of Acciona Concesiones SL and Concesiones Chile Holdings)

The project is expected to be awarded in the second quarter of 2021 and construction works are expected to start in the second quarter of 2022. The winner of the economical proposal will be announced on November 10, 2020.
