The city council of Dublin in Ireland has completed the selection of three sites for Irish Social Housing Bundle 3 PPP project. The Irish social housing is a program under which 1500 houses will be developed at an investment of EUR 300 million (US$ 327 million).
Bundle 3 of the program includes the development of 290 social housing apartments at East Wall, Ballymun, and Whitehall in Dublin. In the Collins Avenue and Swords Road junction at Whitehall up to 100 social houses will be developed. Similarly at East Wall, 100 houses will be built especially for seniors and 90 homes at a site in Ballymun.
The concession period for the project will be 25 years and availability payments will be made to the concessionaire.
