After the devastating explosion, the efforts to revitalize the port of Beirut have attracted massive private section interest. The government of Lebanon is expecting to launch tendering process in the next two weeks.

French port developer CMA CGM has expressed its planning to rebuild the port by reconstruction of damaged infrastructure along with port expansion and modernization. German private companies have also shown interest to revitalize the port infrastructure as well as neighboring districts.
