The Puerto Rico Public-Private Partnerships Authority (P3A), together with the University of Puerto Rico, announced on July 12th that two consortia have been shortlisted to proceed to the competitive procurement process for the public-private partnership of the Student Life Project at Mayagüez Campus.
The Project constitutes the first higher education public-private partnership (P3) in Puerto Rico and is poised to become an iconic project for the University of Puerto Rico. The Project bundles the design, build, finance, operations and maintenance of an on-campus student residence hall, parking facilities, and certain additional capital improvements.
