Shortlist announced for 2nd Nyali Bridge PPP project in Mombasa

Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) has announced the shortlisting of 3 bidders for the 2nd Nyali Bridge Public Private Partnership project (PPP) in Mombasa, Kenya.

The shortlisted bidders are:

  1. Nyali Connect Consortium
  2. IHI-Join-Acciona Consortium
  3. Strabag AG

The selected consortium will be responsible for constructing a 600 m suspension bridge over the Tudor creek to connect Mombasa Island to Mombasa's Northern mainland through the Nyali region.

The project will follow design, finance, construct, operate, maintain and transfer PPP contract model. Financial close for the bridge project was expected in March of 2018.
