The Government of Seychelles and the Seychelles Ports Authority have decided to develop a new marina to berth some 50 hire crafts located at the Baie Ste Anne.

The project intends to redevelop and reorganize the plot of land jutting out into the sea, known as PUC Electricity Island, by having pontoons all along and other structures related to a marina. The new marina will help to boost tourism development and related economic activities on the islands.
