City of Teresina in Brazil has shortlisted seven teams for the Public lighting project in Teresina. The public lighting will increase Teresina's energy park by improving the service for the population. The first areas to benefit will be the Center of the city and the North and South zones.
The shortlisted teams are The Teresina Luz Consortium, Concip Teresina Consortium, Consilux Consortium, Teresina IP Consortium, Sadenco Sul, Terluz Consortium and Teresina Luz Consortium.
All teams will bid for the project. The bidder that submits the best bid will have its documentation analyzed for the purposes of qualification and conclusion of the bid. The other phases of the tendering process will be conducted in the first week of September 2019.
The selected company will be responsible for the implementation, installation, recovery, modernization, improvement, efficiency, expansion, operation and maintenance of Teresina's public lighting network for a period of 20 years. The estimated value of services over the contracting period is around BRL 775 million (US$ 190.77 million).
