Seven companies submit interest in University of Thessaly student campuses PPP in Volos and Lamia

Seven companies expressed interest in the PPP project "University of Thessaly student housing and educational facilities in Volos and Lamia". The companies are GEK TERNA, AKTOR CONCESSIONS, AVAX, M/MYTILINEOS-ATESE, ARCHIRODON, INTRAKAT and THEMELI.

The project involves the design, build, finance, maintenance, and transfer of two modern educations campuses for student housing, educational, and research needs in Volos and Lamia campuses of the University of Thessaly.

The value of the project is estimated at EUR 116.62 million VAT included (USD 137 million).

The companies submitted their expression of interest by the July 16 deadline.

The total length of the concession agreement will be 30 years, 3 of which will be the construction phase, the remaining - operation and maintenance.
