The Ministry of Construction, Transport, and Infrastructure of Serbia has announced the completion of construction works for the wastewater treatment plant and supporting sewerage network in the municipalities of Vranje and Kruševac in Serbia.
The EUR11.8 million (US$12.32 million) wastewater treatment plant in Vranje serves over 65,000 inhabitants of the municipality and has been operational since December 2021.
The Krusevac wastewater treatment plant connects approximately 90,000 inhabitants of the municipality to the sewage network. The plant, completed in 2020, has a development cost of EUR14.3 million (US$14.93 million).
