The Minsitry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure of Serbia and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) have signed an agreement for co-operation in public-private partnership (PPP) infrastructure. IFC will cooperate in drafting quality documentation for PPPs in infrastructure projects as well as bear 80% of the cost.
The first two projects to be implemented under the agreement are ports in Prahovo and Bogojevo. The agreement aims to lay the foundations for the full utilization of all transport capacities of Serbia by implementing important projects for the development of river and air transport.
