The Serb Republic of the Government of Bosnia and Herzegovina has launched the procedure to award the concession of the 51 MW Trusina wind project to the East Sarajevo-based renewable energy company, SDL Energy.

The wind farm, with an estimated investment of BAM150 million (US$83.93 million), will be built in Nevesinje of Trusina mountain in southeastern Bosnia. The project is expected to generate up to 160 GWh of energy per year.

The Government of Serb Republic has previously awarded the concession of the project to Eol Prvi. The contract was eventually terminated after the company has failed to start the construction of the project after several years since the awarding of the contract.
