The World Bank has launched two tenders processes to hire a legal consultant and a technical and environmental & social consultant for a sea water desalination public private partnership (PPP) project in Senegal.
The Government of Senegal is considering a PPP to increase the provision of clean water supply in the country, through the development of a sea water desalination plant with a production capacity of up to 100,000 cubic meters per day. The government has requested the assistance of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank, to act as lead advisor for the project.
The assignment will be executed in two main phases:
Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
