The Government of Antioquia and Concesión Túnel Aburrá Oriente have announced the start of the second stage of the Aburrá Oriente Tunnel Connection project in Colombia.
The second stage will be carried out in phases and is expected to be operational by the end of 2023. In the first phase, the following works will be conducted:
The second phase involves the construction of the second carriageway of the open-air road between the Seminario Tunnel and the Santa Elena Tunnel by means of viaducts, as well as other complementary works.
