Private equity firm Searchlight Capital Partners LP agreed to acquire asset manager Gresham House PLC.

The acquisition of Gresham House by Searchlight Capital Partners values the entire issued and outstanding share capital at around GBP469.8 million (US$614 million) on a fully diluted basis. Searchlight Capital Partners is a private equity firm focused on investing in mid-market companies in the UK and Europe. This acquisition marks Searchlight's first investment in the alternative investment management sector. Gresham House manages various alternative investment strategies, including real estate, infrastructure, private equity, and debt. The funding for the deal is expected to come from a combination of debt and equity sources.
