North Lanarkshire Council in the UK has issued a tender notice seeking a private sector partner (the Commercial Partner or PSP) to provide a new approach for the delivery of a full range of interconnected properties, community assets, and infrastructure investments to support the revitalization of its communities. The main focus of this partnership is to help fulfill the council's vision for re-invention of North Lanarkshire as the place to Live, Learn, Work, Invest and Visit as well as economic growth and prosperity.
The private partner will provide strategic advice and services (the Partnering Services), delivery of asset maintenance services (the Core Services), management, and delivery of projects related to the provision of Core Services (the Core Projects & Programmes). The contract will be for 20 years is valued at GBP 5.737 billion (US$ 6.928 billion).
