Saudi Arabia has announced the completion of the transfer of an 8% stake in Saudi Aramco to the Public Investment Fund (PIF).
The 8% shareholding amounts to approximately US$163 billion, marking the PIF's third expansion of its stake in Aramco. The fund initially held a 4% stake from 2022, and an additional 4% stake is owned by Sanabil, an investment company under PIF. Collectively, the PIF and its affiliated entities now possess a 16% stake in Saudi Aramco, valued at US$327 billion. This transfer aligns with Saudi Arabia's ongoing efforts to enhance and diversify the national economy and broaden investment prospects by the goals outlined in Saudi Vision 2030.
