The Ministry of Health of Saudi Arabia has announced the launch of more than 100 projects over the next five years under public-private partnerships (PPP) in the amount of almost SAR48 billion (US$12.77 billion).
The PPP projects will involve developing and operating two medical cities in the north and south of Saudi Arabia, establishing and operating a 900-bed hospital to provide medical rehabilitation and long-term care services, restructuring and upgrading more than 200 primary health care centers including the provision of medical transportation and radiological services.
