Aliadas para el Progreso SAS and CCA South America (China Construction America) defined the partial transfer of the concession contract for the Santana-Mocoa-Neiva project, in order to start with Phase II of the Remedial Plan, which will enable the development of the corridor of 456 km in length, which integrates the departments of Huila, Cauca, and Putumayo.
The agreement reached between Aliadas and CCA South America will have two stages. The first partial transfer, in which the Chinese company will immediately assume the activities of commissioning the Santana-Mocoa-Neiva corridor with an investment of COP100,000 million pesos (USD28 million) that will be executed throughout 2021, starting in the month of January; In the second stage, the scope of the concession contract will be defined, based on the requests made during the socialization sessions with the community, within the framework of the "Commitment Colombia" strategy of the Comptroller General of the Republic related to the installation of new tolls provided for in the concession contract.
