The City of San Jose (the City) has launched a solicitation to look for consulting services for the development of a Request for Proposals (RFP) to gain an infrastructure partner for the Airport Connector PPP project. The City will conduct a procurement process to select a Preferred Bidder to execute an at-risk Predevelopment Agreement (PDA) between the City and an entity for the Design, Construction, Financing/Funding, Operations, and Maintenance of the Airport connector.
The project involves the development of a new transit connection between Mineta San José International Airport (SJC) and Diridon Station in Silicon Valley, California. In July 2019, the City of San Jose published a request for information (RFI), asking firms to discuss potential solutions that could provide a mass transit infrastructure and operations at significantly lower cost than traditional transit projects.
The deadline to submit the response is May 26, 2021. More information about this business opportunity can be found here.
