The Viadukt construction company is reportedly to relaunch the sale of a 5.11% stake in the concessionaire of Zagreb Airport, located in northern Croatia, after receiving no bids.
Bids for the stake were invited at a starting price of EUR7 million (US$7.98 million), with a submission deadline in early December. The starting price is not expected to be altered for the relaunch.
The remaining shareholders of the concessionaire are the following: Aeroports de Paris Management (20.77%), Bouygues Batiment International (20.77%), Marguerite Fund (20.77%), IFC (17.58%) and TAV Airports (15.0%).
Under the 30-year concession contract, the consortium have already constructed and financed a new international terminal at the airport, which was inaugurated in March 2017 and has increased the airport's annual handling capacity from 2.8 to 5 million passengers. Viadukt also served as construction contractor, alongside Bouygues.
