SAC services, the operator responsible for the management of Catania-Fontanarossa airport, has announced plans to sell a 50% stake in the airport.
The transaction is subject to approval from the regional commerce chamber of Sicily. SAC services has appointed Gianni & Origoni partners as legal advisers for the preparation of preliminary documents for the sale.
Catania-Fontanarossa Airport is the second largest airport in Sicily handling approximately 10 million passengers per year. Supercamera holds a 61.22% stake in SAC Service while the Metropolitan City of Catania owns a 12% stake in the company.
