Romania to launch bridge project over Danube River

The Government of Romania plans to launch a new bridge that will be built over the river of Danube and connect the cities of Zimniceain Romania and Svishtov in Bulgaria. 

The project will be implemented under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) scheme. 

Romania and Bulgaria currently connected by two bridges over the Danube, one between Ruse and Giurgiu and another one between Vidin and Calafat.
