The Rochester City Council in Minnesota, USA has proposed a plan to develop a new library on the Post Bulletin site in downtown Rochester. The council is seeking support from elected officials to explore the public-private partnership (PPP) mode of procurement for the project. Earlier PB Rochester Investments LLC purchased the Post Bulletin site and demolished the existing buildings on the property.
The council is planning a 150,000 sq ft library which would double the capacity. The council would work with the PB Rochester Investments LLC to launch a procurement process.
