The Government of Ukraine has announced the reconstruction of Rivne International Airport.
The reconstruction of Rivne International Airport corresponds to the national program "Big Construction". In 2021, the program included the development of regional air hubs. The Rivne airport is planned to be modernized within the framework of the State target program for the development of airports for the period until 2023. The Government of Ukraine allocated UAH75 million (US$2 million) from the budget for the project.
Ukraine also launched a tender for a project to overhaul the airport fence.
