Risoil-Kherson team awarded for Kherson Port PPP project

The Minister of Infrastructure has awarded the company Risoil-Kherson the concession of the Port of Kherson project under a public-private partnership (PPP) scheme. 

Risoil-Kherson LLC, a company composed of Risoil and the Georgian Industrial Group, has offered a variable concession payment rate of 7% from revenue for the year which is 10 times higher variable than the minimum tender rate. The company offered a fixed concession payment of UAH12 million (US$484,000) and an investment of UAH300 million (US$12.11 million) for four years. The company will also commit UAH18 million (US$727,000) for the development of local infrastructure. 

The concession seeks to attract investments in the state-owned port infrastructure facilities, increase the value of the facility at the expense of the private capital, and the implementation of advanced management and improvement of the quality of the port services. 

The concession contract will be signed the concentration permit from the Antimonopoly Committee in accordance with the legislation.
