The District of Columbia and EYA has finalized the public private partnership for housing development project in Washington DC. The project includes development of housing at the four-acres site located in the corner of Riggs Road and South Dakota Avenue in the Fort Totten neighborhood in Ward 4. Phase 1 involves construction of 90 new townhomes, five of which are designated as affordable dwelling units (ADU). The 90 townhomes will offer modern, 2, 3, and 4-bedroom floor plans, sophisticated features and finishes, optional loft levels and rooftop terraces and one or two-car garages
Phase two of the project will be a mixed-use senior apartment community with at least 30 ADUs.
EYA has partnered with JBG Smith and Paramount Development for the project. Eagle Bank will act as lenders for EYA. The construction works are expected to begin in July 2020.
