French alternative energy fund manager RGreen Invest has successfully closed the fundraising of its "NOUVELLES ENERGIES" fund at EUR124 million (US$140.41 million), exceeding its fundraising target of EUR100 million (US$113.23 million) in six months.
Ten French institutional investors have subscribed to this strategy, offering a net return of 5% over 2 years. As a reminder, through the “NOUVELLES ENERGIES” funds, RGREEN INVEST offers an alternative short-term financing solution with fixed-rate for promoters of renewable energy infrastructure projects.
Launched in July 2018, the “NOUVELLES ENERGIES” fund has already contributed to the first financing of solar, wind and storage projects in France and Europe amounting more than EUR50 million (US$56.62 million).
