Valley Water in the USA received huge participation in the Industry day webinar for Expedited water program PPP held on March 30, 2021. The webinar exceeded the subscribers' count and discussed the project overview and technical workshop. The authority plans to publish a two-part Request for Quotes (RFQ) on April 30, 2021.

Expedited Purified Water Program will develop up to 45,000 acre-feet per year (AFY) of purified water for indirect and/or direct potable reuse to supplement groundwater recharge from other existing sources, such as imported and local water supply. The program will be procured under design, construction, financing, operations, maintenance, and management (DBFOM) mode.

The scope of works involves :

• Design & Construction of 10 MGD AWPF (producing approx 11,200 AFY), ROC Management & Disposal,  Concentrate pipeline from the AWPF site, Purified Water Pump Station and Pipeline (18-20 miles), Recharge Ponds; 
• Life-cycle operation and maintenance (O&M) at prescribed standards;
• Return and residual life requirements.
