Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA), in collaboration with the National Center for Privatization & PPP (NCP), has announced the launch of the Expression of Interest (EOI) and Request for Qualification (RFQ) phase for the Development and Operations of Customs Warehouses Project in 38 Points of Entry (PoEs) across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The project will be delivered under a Design-Build-Finance-Maintain-Operate-Transfer (DBFMOT) model over a 15-year contract, including the construction phase. It involves designing, constructing, and maintaining 13 warehouses, of which 12 are new, while one is a renovation. Operational duties will cover these facilities across 38 points of entry (PoEs), handling tasks such as loading and off-loading goods, operating machinery, and providing cleaning services. New equipment for all warehouses is also part of the project scope.
ZATCA and NCP are inviting local and international investors to explore the project details on the NCP website at www.ncp.gov.sa. Interested companies can request the RFQ document and must submit their Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) by November 14, 2024.
