The state-owned corporation, Alaska Railroad Corporation (ARRC), has launched a request for qualification for interested companies to participate in the Seward Marine Terminal expansion plans in Seward, Alaska.
The terminal facility will be developed under the public-private partnership (PPP) scheme. The works include the development of the docks, terminal facilities, and uplands. The selected private partner will design, construct, and seasonal operate the new facility,as well as potentially expand the current operations to include additional uplands development.
ARRC plans to select a potential partner by the end of 2019.
The deadline for the submission of qualifications is on October 30, 2019.
