Saudi Arabia's Water & Electricity L.L.C (WEC) has issued a Request for Pre-Qualification (RFQ) to interested parties for the Taif Independent Sewage Treatment Project (ISTP).
WEC is looking for a private developer or developer consortium to develop, finance, engineer, procure, construct, implement, own, operate, maintain and transfer a sewage treatment plant, which will have a total treatment capacity of up to 270,000 m3/day.
66 developers responded to a Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEOI) for the project published in January this year. The deadline to submit Statements of Qualification (SOQs) is 21 March 2019.
