Niagara Parks in Ontario, Canada has launched a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for the development of the adaptive re-use of two former hydroelectric power generating stations: Toronto Power and Ontario Power Generating Stations. These dormant buildings are located in Queen Victoria Park, within Niagara Parks.
The selected private partner will be responsible for the finance, design, procurement, construction, operation and maintenance of a revenue-generating operation for the plants. Interested firms can submit the qualifications for both plants or a single plant.
