Rwanda Transport Development Agency (RTDA) has launched a request for qualification seeking a private partner to develop ferry service on Lake Kivu. Lake Kivu is one of the biggest African lakes on the border between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda. The concession includes Design Build Finance Operate and Transfer of ferry services for a period of 20 years. The ferry operation will be done in the territory of Rwanda between the ports of Rubavu, Nkora, Karongi, and Rusizi.
The deadline to submit qualifications is December 23, 2019.
